Student Housing and Accommodation
It is specifically concerned with the following :-
Preparing and equipping student accommodation in student houses to create a scientific and cultural environment suitable for creativity and innovation among students, working to maintain this scientific atmosphere throughout the academic year, and providing useful suggestions in this regard.
Monitoring maintenance work in student housing and alerting to the locations of faults and malfunctions for repair by the administration or the relevant department at the university.
Receiving students in student housing and enabling them to reside there according to the approved admission criteria, maintaining records, and preparing lists and cards related to that in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Supervising students in student housing and providing them with social care, as well as organizing various activities for them in the designated houses in coordination with the Office of Student Activities and Affairs at the university.
Supervising the staff in the student housing and monitoring their commitment to fulfilling their duties and adhering to the established conditions and regulations.
Providing useful suggestions to improve the level of student nutrition services, including their conditions, types, and quantities, in accordance with recognized scientific and health standards.
Supervising restaurants and food storage facilities, inspecting them, managing their equipment, overseeing meal preparation, and taking all necessary measures to ensure the availability of health standards.
Monitoring the work of the nutrition committees and overseeing the implementation of food supply conditions, as well as providing reports and necessary proposals for improvement.
