In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad and upon his pure and good family and companions.

Allah, the Exalted, says in His Glorious Book

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

(And say, "Work, for Allah will see your work, and so will His Messenger and the believers.") Allah, the Exalted, has spoken the truth.

And the Messenger, peace be upon him, said: "Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim, male and female." The Messenger of Allah has spoken the truth.

To begin with, it brings me joy and honor to write these humble words and lines in praise of this young university, Nalut University. With the help and grace of God, through the sincere efforts of the good-hearted, and with unwavering determination that does not yield or relent, and by underestimating difficulties in the pursuit of raising the banner of knowledge and learning high and proud in this region, Nalut University was established by a decision from the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord, number (606) of the year 2017. It stands proudly on the majestic Nafusa Mountain, thus announcing the return of the glorious legacy that this area once had after its Islamic conquest when it was a place of pilgrimage and a center for knowledge and scholars, renowned for having a mufti or scholar in every one of its prosperous homes.

This university was born from the womb of suffering and in extremely difficult circumstances. However, with God's permission, as the administration of this university, we are determined to advance it steadily and confidently to the ranks of prestigious universities at both the local and international levels, through diligence, hard work, and continuous effort from all its staff.

Our ambition and noble goal is to graduate qualified scientific cadres with distinguished scientific training capable of making effective and serious contributions to the construction and elevation of the overall level of this nation.

In conclusion, I cannot miss this opportunity to express my sincere thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to everyone who contributed and helped in establishing this scientific fortress, even 
with a kind word.
