"Workshop on the Bologna Process for the Advancement of Higher Education"

The University of Nalut organized a workshop on the Bologna Agreement for the development of higher education on the morning of Sunday, January 7, 2024, in Lecture Hall No. 1 at the Faculty of Medical Technology, titled: "Application of European Credit Units in the Curriculum at the University of Nalut."

The workshop was presented by Dr. Saleh Ali Al-Sadiq and Dr. Muftah Muhammad Al-Bakoush and focused on the European Credit Transfer System, which is one of the key pillars of the Bologna Process for the development of higher education in Europe, considered the largest reform of higher education in the world.

The workshop was attended by the university president, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Masoud Qnan, the university vice president for academic affairs, Dr. Saleh Saeed Al-Alawi, the director of the graduate studies and training department, Dr. Mohammed Omar Al-Qallal, the director of the international cooperation office, the director of the quality and performance evaluation office at the university, deans of the colleges, academic affairs deputies, college registrars, graduate studies and quality coordinators in the colleges, and a number of interested individuals.

The workshop reviewed a series of steps included in the Bologna Agreement for the development of higher education, the points required for practical implementation, and their significance.
