Participation of members of the editorial board of the Shuroos Scientific Journal in a workshop on scientific publishing strategies
Members of the editorial board of the Shuroos Scientific Journal participated in an international workshop titled "Strategies for Scientific Publishing in Journals Indexed in Global Databases." The workshop, organized by the Scientific Events Portal, was held on Monday, August 11, 2025, via the "Zoom" platform in Malaysia.
The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Sarhan Ahmed Suleiman, Director of the International Thinkers Center for Research and Scientific Studies in Egypt. Dr. Sarhan is considered one of the certified experts in the field of scientific research arbitration, having served as a reviewer for 32 classified scientific journals, and he chairs the editorial board of some of them, in addition to being a member of the advisory committee for 15 other international journals. He has reviewed 242 international research papers, making him the leading Arab lecturer in this field.
The training content of the workshop includes materials accredited by Web of Science for the year 2025, and it is characterized by being presented in Arabic.

• How to verify the ranking of scientific journals in global databases.
• The most important criteria that classified journals focus on for accepting research.
• Common mistakes that lead to research rejection and how to avoid them.
• Practical tips to expedite the publication process and respond to reviewers.
