The delegation was warmly welcomed in the courtyard of the ancient Tandar Mosque, where they were received by the President of Nalut University and the university's registrar, marking the beginning of a rich exploratory tour of the archaeological, historical, and scientific landmarks that the city boasts.
The visit began with entering the halls of the ancient Tindar Mosque, where the delegation learned about the mosque's history, its unique architecture, and its important role in the lives of the city's residents throughout the ages.
Following this reception and the visit to the ancient mosque, the delegation embarked on a journey through time and history, where the tour included exploring the old city of Nalut, with its narrow alleys and closely-knit houses that tell stories of the region's rich past. At another scientifically significant stop, the delegation visited the Libyan Museum of Natural History and Dinosaurs, which amazed and impressed the students with its collection of fossilized skeletons and rare remains dating back to prehistoric times, providing them with a unique opportunity to learn about ancient life on Libyan soil. They explored a valuable collection of fossils and remains from different geological eras.
The delegation also learned about another aspect of the region's history through a visit to the Italian fortifications in the Nalut area, which serve as a testament to the period of occupation and the defense tactics of that era.
The visit had a significant impact on the religious and scientific aspects for the delegation through their visit to the Al-Istiqamah Foundation for the Quran and its Sciences in the city, where they learned about the foundation's efforts in serving the Book of God, preserving it, and teaching its sciences, and they listened to valuable guidance from those in charge.
The tour also included a visit to the historic Hosh Marah, another historical site that carries many cultural and historical significances for the region.
To add a touch of entertainment and relaxation to this scientific journey, the final stop on this rich trip was a visit to the Tala Tourist Park Reserve, where students and faculty members enjoyed the breathtaking beauty of nature and the enchanting landscapes that the park is known for, which added a sense of relaxation and joy to the visit.

This scientific and cultural journey was interspersed with impactful literary and emotional moments, where Dr. Reda Mohammed Jibran, one of the accompanying faculty members, recited expressive poetry that embodies feelings of love and appreciation for the city of Nalut, its beauty, and its rich history. These verses received great admiration from the audience and added a distinctive aesthetic and emotional touch to the visit.
Dr. Gibran's verses came as follows:
Nalut, the path of the beloved
On your pure breezes, it nourishes** And in your beautiful glories, it surpasses
With you, hearts come to life, and there is no blame** on a lover who dies waiting for your arrival.
And does love become sweet without mention** of the beloved when silence is required
In the end, I have found a love** a presence that cannot be reached by boastfulness
And the good-natured witness every young man ** That love resides in steadfastness
((The love of Nalut has driven me to madness))** and it will not sing to my loud devotion
These poetic verses sincerely express the deep impression that Nalut left on the souls of its visitors, and they praise its rich history, the beauty of its nature, and the generosity of its people.
In the context of strengthening the bonds of cooperation and mutual appreciation, the gentlemen from the College of Islamic Da'wah presented a college shield as a memento to the President of Nalut University, expressing their gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and the efforts made to ensure the success of this visit.
