The University of Nalut concluded its distinguished first international participation this morning, Friday, October 31, 2025, in the fourteenth session of the International Conference on Signal and Image Processing (ISPA2025).
This conference is held annually in a different country, and this session is the fourteenth (14th) in its history.
The conference was held under the auspices of IEEE Signal Processing at the University of Coimbra in Coimbra, Portugal, from October 29 to 31. The event witnessed wide international participation from researchers and academics.
The university participated and presented the scientific paper via Zoom Meeting, and the university was represented by:
Dr. Ibrahim Shati (faculty member at the Faculty of Engineering in Jadu). And Professor Mohamed Farid Jurnaz, Professor of Communications Engineering and the Secretary-General of the university.
They presented a joint scientific paper titled:
"Enhancing Cybersecurity and Green Communication in 5G Networks: Challenges and Sustainable solutions"
The paper discussed advanced and sophisticated technologies to enhance cybersecurity and reduce energy consumption in fifth-generation (5G) networks, in addition to providing sustainable solutions for integrating these technologies.
This participation is an important step for Nalut University in international scientific forums. The conference was held at the University of Coimbra, the oldest university in Portugal, which was founded in 1290 AD and is ranked among the top 500 universities in the world...
