As part of the preparations for the third international scientific conference for scholars and figures of Nafusa and Zuwara, past and present, a meeting was held this morning, Monday, May 6, 2024, at the headquarters of the General Administration of Nalut University. The meeting included the President of Nalut University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, the honorary president of the conference, the conference president Dr. Saleh Said Al-Alawi, the head of the preparatory committee Mr. Ali Musa Al-Filali, Mr. Salah Masoud Al-Dabli, the head of the Nafusa Foundation for Cultural and Social Communication, and Mr. Shaaban Mohammed Al-Mashaiikh, the head of the media committee for the conference.
The meeting discussed several items, the most important of which were:
1- Presentation and discussion of what the preparatory committee has reached regarding the accommodation of participants, the preparation of the halls, and the reception of the conference guests.
2- Presentation of what the scientific committee has reached regarding the reception and evaluation of research.
3- Presentation and discussion of the media committee and the readiness of all publications
and the conference posters.
4- A proposal was presented to form a committee to evaluate the conference papers and select the best three papers according to the criteria set by the established committee.
