The Higher Institute of Science and Technology in Ghadames hosts the proceedings of the scientific sessions of the Second International Scientific Conference on Economic and Political Studies.
This morning, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the morning sessions of the Second International Scientific Conference on Economic and Political Studies, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Nalut University, commenced at the Higher Institute of Science and Technology in Ghadames. It was announced that 84 research papers have been accepted for participation in the conference.
These sessions were distributed across several themes, and they were held in different halls, as follows:
Hall No. (1) - Administrative Studies Axis: chaired by Dr. Elias Abubakr Al-Barouni, and the session rapporteur is Dr. Muftah Hindi.
Room No. (3) - Political Studies Axis: Chaired by Dr. Issa Mohammed Al-Shaibani, and the session rapporteur is Aisha Abdullah.
Room No. (4): Presided over by Dr. Salma Amro Barqik, and the session rapporteur is Mr. Al-Ajili Muhammad Omar Abubasisa.
Room No. (5) - Accounting Studies Axis: Chaired by Dr. Ismail Al-Mahdi Samio, and the session rapporteur is Dr. Ilham Milad
Room number (2): chaired by Dr. Al-Makki Al-Wahishi, and the committee rapporteur is Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Jilani.
Room number (6): chaired by Professor Dr. Warda Belkacem Al-Ayashi, and the session rapporteur is Dr. Najat Al-Amin.
Room No. (7): Chaired by Dr. Helmy Ahmed Al-Qamati, and the session rapporteur is Dr. Amal Al-Nakrouri.
The conference activities will continue in the evening at the same institute, where the research papers will be distributed across rooms number (1, 2, 3, 7). In addition, a special room has been designated for presenting research papers that are submitted via video technology (remotely).
The sessions witnessed a distinguished attendance that included: the President of Nalut University, Professor Dr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, the conference chairman, Dr. Elias Abubakr Al-Baroni, the head of the scientific committee, Professor Dr. Al-Hussein Salem Ghaith, committee members, several deans of colleges and directors of departments at the university, in addition to faculty members and students from the Higher Institute of Science and Technology in the city of Ghadames, as well as those interested in economic and political affairs.
The sessions featured a presentation of a collection of valuable research papers that addressed various aspects related to sustainable development, management, and knowledge economy, including prominent titles.
The sessions included in-depth discussions between researchers and attendees, which contributed to enriching perspectives and exchanging experiences on the various topics of the conference.
The conference presidency and the institute administration extend their sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the conference committees for their significant organizational and scientific efforts. They also express special thanks to the youth of the Volunteer Efforts Agency in Ghadames for their fruitful cooperation and effective contribution to organizing the workflow in the session halls since early morning, which had a profound impact on the success of the first day of the conference.
