The second international conference on food and nutrition, ICFN LIBYA2nd, concluded this evening, Monday, December 18, 2023, at the main auditorium of the Faculty of Medical Technology at Nalut University.
The conference continued over the two days of December 17-18, during which there was active participation from a select group of professors, experts, specialists, and researchers from various scientific centers and Libyan universities with research papers. Some scientific lectures were delivered, and a concurrent exhibition was held alongside the conference, featuring many producing companies and food and water bottling factories.
The closing ceremony began with a speech by the conference president, Dr. Nagy Al-Hadi Aburas, in which he thanked all the attendees, participants in the conference, and the supporting companies participating in the exhibition.
Then, Dr. Mohamed Al-Sharif delivered a speech in which he presented the recommendations issued by the scientific committee of the conference, which aim to encourage everyone to assist in the development of food and nutrition sectors and water bottling plants in Libya.
Then Dr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, the honorary president of the conference and the university president, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the esteemed attendees and participants of the conference, and expressed his gratitude to the scientific committee, the conference president, and the organizing committee for their efforts in preparing for this conference.
Then, the conference presidency presented certificates to the participants, and certificates of appreciation and recognition were distributed to many committees, organizations, supporting and participating companies, media channels, and numerous individuals who contributed to the success of the conference.
At the end of the ceremony, there was a commemorative group photo that included the esteemed researchers, participating delegations, and attendees.
