The second international scientific conference on economic and political studies concluded this morning, Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the auditorium of Abdul Rahman Al-Busiri Secondary School in the city of Ghadames. The conference was held from October 28 to 30, 2025, under the slogan: "Towards Achieving Sustainable Local Development."
The closing ceremony witnessed a prominent official and academic attendance, led by: the President of Nalut University, Professor Dr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, the conference chairman Dr. Elias Al-Barouni, the chairman of the scientific committee Professor Dr. Al-Hussein Salem Ghaith and committee members, the director of the Higher Institute of Science and Technology, and the education supervisor in the municipality of Ghadames. The celebration was also attended by several deans of colleges and directors of departments at the university, dignitaries and sheikhs from the city of Ghadames, as well as those interested in economic and political affairs.
On this occasion, the university administration extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Municipality of Ghadames, the administration of the Higher Institute of Science and Technology, the Education and Teaching Monitoring Authority, Abdul Rahman Al-Busiri Secondary School, the Ghadames City Development and Improvement Authority, the Volunteer Efforts Agency, and all the hotels and accommodation places that hosted the conference guests, for their efforts that contributed to the success of its activities.
