The Scientific Council Meeting of the Faculty of Law – Al-Ruhaibat Branch Discusses Updates in Scientific Research and Academic Programs"

The Scientific Council of the Faculty of Law, Branch of Al-Ruhaybat, held its regular meeting today, Sunday, April 20, 2025, to discuss a number of important topics related to the scientific and academic journey of the college. The meeting focused on the following points:

  • Review of what was agreed upon in the items of the previous agenda.
  • Discussion of the college's needs for faculty members and operational materials.
  • Mechanism for distributing graduation research to evaluation committees, according to specialization.
  • Discussion of the completion rate of the study courses, which exceeded 95% in most courses, and it was confirmed that the first round of exams will begin on May 15th, with the knowledge that the supplementary exam starts on May 11th for a duration of three days.
  • Formation of an examination committee for monitoring and observation.
  • New business. The following gentlemen attended the meeting:
  • Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the College.
  • Heads of scientific departments.
  • Head of the Research and Consulting Department at the college.
  • Office managers, along with a group of faculty members at the college.
  • The meeting also included a review of the reports from the subcommittees arising from the council, which addressed issues related to the evaluation of academic performance, the organization of upcoming scientific events, and the development of mechanisms for scientific collaboration with other legal institutions at both the local and international levels.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the dean of the college emphasized the importance of the collective efforts of all faculty members and adherence to high academic standards, which contributes to enhancing the college's status as a leading academic institution in the field of law. He also stressed the need for careful follow-up on the implementation of the decisions and recommendations issued by the council, in a way that serves the interests of the students, the college, and the community alike.
