Meeting to discuss graduate programs at Nalut University
A meeting was held this morning, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in the conference room at the Nalut University headquarters, chaired by the university president, Professor Dr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, and the university's vice president for academic affairs, Dr. Saleh Said Al-Alawi. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the university's graduate programs.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Graduate Studies and Training Department, Dr. Mohamed Amro Al-Qallal, as well as the deans and vice deans of academic affairs from the Colleges of Law, Engineering, and Medical Technology.
Meeting Agenda
The meeting discussed several important points aimed at enhancing the university's efficiency and saving time and effort for students wishing to continue their graduate studies:
• Follow-up on the Graduate Studies Report: A report was reviewed that was presented by the Director of the Graduate Studies and Training Department regarding faculty members, teaching assistants, and staff sent for graduate studies, whether within the country or abroad, to ensure that they have completed the requirements for obtaining the degrees for which they were sent.
• Launching new graduate programs: Attendees agreed to launch new graduate programs in the fall of 2026 in the following departments, provided that all required documents from the colleges are completed.
