As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's efforts to transition to digital transformation across all its departments and affiliated entities, and in line with the University Affairs Administration's commitment to implementing the digital transformation project, Mr. Riyad Suleiman Jernaz, Director of the Information and Documentation Center at Nalut University, along with Engineer Ayman Youssef Askar, Head of the Information Technology Department at the center, participated in the workshop organized by the University Affairs Administration at the ministry on Monday and Tuesday, July 15-16, 2024, in the meeting hall of the ministry's headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, under the title "Launch of the New Electronic Portal System for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research."
The workshop aims to:
- Discussion of some topics related to the new system.
- Clarification of the workflow on the portal and explanation of the different interfaces of the new system, along with an explanation of the control panels of the electronic portal.
- Explanation of the operation mechanism of the new system with the national number system and how it works, as well as the explanation of the mechanism for issuing the academic number and how to verify and authenticate the data.
- Registration of university representatives and direct input of the institutional structure of universities in preparation for the general registration phase for all categories.
