The Scientific Symposium of the Faculty of Engineering, Jado, December 27-30, 2023

As part of the activation of the joint scientific cooperation agreement between Nalut University and the University of Sfax in Tunisia in the fields of academia, educational exchange, and scientific research, signed on Wednesday, the 6th of Jumada al-Awwal 1444 AH, corresponding to November 30, 2022, at the headquarters of the University of Sfax.

In the context of cooperation for the development of human capacities and conducting joint research and scientific studies in the academic and research fields.

The Faculty of Engineering at Jadu University is organizing a scientific seminar this morning, Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in the auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering at Jadu, covering several topics including nanomaterials, biomaterials, superconductors, and electrical insulators.

The seminar will continue until December 30th and targets faculty members and college students, managed by several professors from the University of Sfax, with the presence of the university's vice president for academic affairs and the dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Jadu.

– Professor Mohamed Najeh, Department of Electrical Engineering, National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS), University of Sfax, Tunisia.

– Professor Abdul Wahab Sheikh Rouh, an Emirati professor in the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Sciences in Sfax, University of Sfax, Tunisia.

– Professor Hafiz Al-Trabelsi, Department of Electrical Engineering, National School of Engineering of Sfax (ENIS), University of Sfax, Tunisia.

– Professor Nabil Drabel, Department of Electrical Engineering, National Engineering School of Sfax (ENIS), University of Sfax, Tunisia.

It is noted that the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, the University Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Saleh Said Al-Alawi, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Jadu, Mr. Muhammad Ali Abudina, and Mr. Tarek Mohamed Yaro, the Director of the International Cooperation Office at the university, were present to welcome the delegation participating in the seminar in the city of Jadu on the evening of Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

The joint cooperation agreement between the university and the University of Sfax includes the following terms:

Cooperation in the field of graduate studies, planning and implementing joint scientific research, jointly organizing seminars, conferences, and scientific events, and exchanging the delegation (mobility) of faculty, staff, and students between the two universities.

Collaboration in the field of updating and developing academic programs and curricula at various stages in accordance with the labor market, and participating in the publication of scientific publications, references, bibliographic sources, knowledge, media materials, and other materials that contribute to achieving common goals.

On this occasion, the university presidency extends its gratitude and appreciation to Professor Nour Eddine Al-Shamakhi, former Director General of the National Authority for Scientific Research, for his efforts in coordinating this seminar.
