"President of Nalut University Participates in the Second Forum on Arab University Twinning"

The President of Nalut University participates in the second forum for the twinning of Arab universities, organized by the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO), in Sharjah.

In the context of enhancing academic cooperation and the exchange of ideas and experiences, as well as collaboration between Arab universities and global institutions concerned with the field of scientific research and sustainable development, to promote cooperation in driving comprehensive development economically and socially, and at the kind invitation of the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science "ALECSO."

Professor Dr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, President of Nalut University, participated on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, in the opening activities of the "Second Forum for the Twinning of Arab Universities," organized by the Arab Organization for Education, Culture, and Science (ALECSO), under the slogan "Green Entrepreneurship and Volunteer Environmental Teams in Arab Universities: Horizons for Joint Cooperation."

The President of the university participated in the seventh scientific session with a presentation titled "The Role of the University in Serving the Community." He began by expressing his happiness to participate in the Arab Universities Twinning Forum, emphasizing the importance of concerted efforts to implement a strategy aimed at creating sustainable active mechanisms for cooperation among institutions working in the field of research, development, and innovation.

The forum is hosted by the University of Sharjah from November 20 to 22, with the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, along with a group of Arab leaders and university presidents from Libya and various Arab countries, to enhance academic cooperation and exchange ideas and experiences.

The forum aims to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences and knowledge, as well as the latest scientific developments among the member universities of the association. It will discuss frameworks for collaboration and promote joint initiatives and programs between member universities, student exchange, and research cooperation.

The forum focuses on three main axes, which are:

• Institutional effectiveness.

• Academic Accreditation.

• Regional and international classification of universities and curriculum development.
