At the kind invitation of the President of the University of Gafsa in the Tunisian Republic, Professor Rashad Ben Younes, the President of Nalut University, Dr. Mohamed Masoud Qnan, participated on the morning of Monday, April 29, 2024, in the activities of the 5+5 Border Algerian-Tunisian Universities Forum in the Tozeur Governorate of the Tunisian Republic.
This 5+5 border meeting in the city of Tozeur falls within the framework of continuing collaborative work and further activating the terms of cooperation agreements between Tunisian universities and their Algerian counterparts.
Today, Mr. Mohamed Ayman Al-Bajawi, the governor of the region, oversaw the opening of the activities of the Tunisian-Algerian border universities forum 5+5, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Governorate of Gafsa, representing the Governor of Gafsa, and the Deputy Consul of Algeria in Gafsa, under the title: "The Emergence of an Innovative University and Entrepreneurship."
A number of Tunisian and Algerian universities participated in this forum (University of Gafsa, University of Annaba, University of Gabes, University of El Oued, University of Tebessa, University of Sfax, University of El Tarf, University of Souk Ahras, University of Jendouba, University of Kairouan), in addition to representatives from three Libyan universities (University of Sirte, University of Nalut, and University of Sabratha).
This participation comes from Libyan universities to propose the inclusion of five border Libyan universities in this forum, which aims to serve the educational process in the three countries: Libya, Tunisia, and Algeria, making the forum 5+5+5.
The proposal received a warm welcome and acceptance from all participating Tunisian and Algerian universities in this forum.
